Mary Buchheim has 20 years of engineering consulting experience in the petroleum refining industry. Her activities range from energy conservation projects, software evaluation, to project management of proprietary software products, and managing engineering practices. She has developed the software requirements specifications for several proprietary software products, developed administrative and user documentation, as well as performed software QA/QC for various technical software programs.
She has also managed software development projects for API 571 and API 581 compliant software.
She has experience developing database schemas and interfacing internet sites and documents and databases. She has also been the technical editor and format editor for several refining engineering standards, such as API 579, API 581, API 571, and ASME Section VIII Division 2 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 editions, completing the editing and formatting and producing the print ready document. She also edited numerous Welding Research Council Bulletins.
Ms. Buchheim holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.
