Becht Engineering's 5 day API-579/ASME FFS-1 Fitness for Service course provides theory and practical application of API-579/ASME FFS-1 methods for assessing the acceptability of equipment with various kinds of flaws. The Fitness-for-Service training provides direction for performing FFS assessments using procedures specifically prepared for pressurized equipment. For the topics covered in the training, example problems will be solved using hand calculations supplemented with BechtFFS software and Codeware Inc.'s INSPECT software.

We are now offering THREE types of courses, a 2.5-day Introduction to COMPRESS course, a 5-day course combining ASME Section VIII, Division 1 Design with COMPRESS training and a NEW 4-day Heat Exchanger Design with COMPRESS course!  Through instruction in a computer lab setting, students will gain hands-on experience using COMPRESS and working through the program and example problems along with the instructor.
