Manager, Power Generation Plant Services
Greg Zoll's role will include leading Becht’s Technical Subject Matter Experts developing power generation and plant solutions for Becht clients. Greg brings over 30 years of experience in power generation including cogeneration and simple cycle plant technical assessments, development of power generation feasibility studies, assistance and coordination of plant permitting and response to power plant environmental issues.
Greg is a subject matter expert in advanced technology G, H, J “Frame” and aero derivative combustion turbines and in their firing of high-H2 content syngas. Seasoned experience with contract development and negotiation, Independent Engineering due diligence including M&A, project feasibility/FEED studies and proposal development activities. Equally experienced in utility scale, IPP fossil generation plants including renewable and smaller combined heat and power (CHP) facilities.
He comes to Becht from POWER Engineers where he was VP of Strategic Consulting responsible for Owners Engineering project development support and Independent Engineering review. At POWER, he managed a team of 10+ professionals responsible for marketing, development and execution of all Owners and Independent Engineering work. Greg is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey and holds a BSME from the University of Vermont along with an MBA from Boise State University.
