After a year of planning the 2nd Becht HF Alkylation Summit, hearing attendees tell us how much they valued their time together made all that preparation worthwhile. From September 21–24, 2026, we welcomed 160+ attendees representing 40 companies and 10 countries to Sugar Land, Texas, to talk through the challenges of keeping HF alkylation units safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant. The 3-day program included in-depth discussions of API RP 751 Revision 6, operating practices, component inspection, and corrosion, with plenty of time for questions and experiences from the room.
We kept the Summit intentionally small so people could get to know one another and have conversations that continued beyond the sessions. Through focused breakouts and open Q&A, attendees generously shared lessons from their own facilities and worked through questions together. To everyone who spent part of their week with us, thank you for contributing so much to those conversations.
