About the Summit

What's possible when the best minds in HF alkylation come together?

Join us at the Becht HF Alkylation Summit 2026, where technical and operations leaders come together to discuss the challenges of keeping HF alkylation units safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant.

The Summit begins with a welcome reception on Monday evening for informal networking and idea exchange. From there, the program moves into 2½ days dedicated to HF alkylation, including in-depth technical presentations, focused breakout sessions, open discussion, and time to engage with thoughtfully curated exhibitors.

Unlike larger industry events, the Summit is intentionally kept small so attendees can have meaningful conversations with peers and industry experts throughout the week. Interactive Q&A is built into each day of the program, creating plenty of opportunities to share experiences and learn from each other.

Expect practical takeaways you can put to work as soon as you’re back on site. If you want a clearer view of where HF alkylation is heading and how others are handling shifting standards and greater demands, you'll find it here.

Who should attend?

  • Engineers and operations leaders responsible for HF alkylation units
  • Technical specialists supporting mechanical integrity, corrosion, inspection, process safety, and reliability programs
  • Anyone looking for straightforward discussions with HF experts who have been there

What past attendees are saying:

  • “Excellent speakers and panelists.”
  • “Good to see industry partners working together for safer and more efficient operations.”
  • “Technically valuable and interesting.”
  • “A lot of us may think we are the only plant having struggles, so it is reassuring to hear that bigger and smaller refineries are having similar issues.”
  • “Great HF community discussion and comradery.”
  • “The presentations helped put my unit into perspective and see that we are all facing some of the same issues.”
  • “Top-notch experts.”

Program Details

The Becht HF Alkylation Summit program is built around the real questions and challenges facing alkylation teams today. Sessions are designed to encourage open dialog and ground conversations in firsthand operating experience, with a clear focus on what works in the field. This agenda will continue to evolve as we finalize speakers and incorporate emerging issues shaping HF alkylation.

Featured Topic

API RP 751 – Revision 6: What Changed and Why It Matters
Key changes in the new edition and how users are planning to implement them, including breakout sessions that dive more deeply into Sections 4, 5, and 6.

Interactive Q&A Panels

3 days (7+ hours) of Q&A conversations focused on critical process engineering, mechanical integrity, and safety topics, including hose management and threaded connections.
