Risk-based inspection (RBI) has been applied at refining, petrochemical, and chemical facilities for more than two decades. To prevent RBI from being a one-time analysis, integrating RBI processes into every plant activity is essential.
This four-hour course will review the key aspects of a successful and sustainable RBI program. Future updates to the most recent edition of API 580 – Risk Based Inspection will be reviewed with a focus on impacts of changes to RBI practitioners. |

This course is being presented by Mr. Matthew Caserta, a professional engineer with over 18 years of engineering experience in oil refining, chemical processing, and consulting.
Mr. Caserta’s varied background provides unique insights into process interactions, equipment reliability, and corrosion and materials concerns. He currently manages Becht’s corrosion control document (CCD) integrity operating window (IOW) implementation team. Who is this course meant for?
