Private Training

Becht’s public training courses are offered on a set schedule at a venue that has been arranged by Becht. These courses can be attended by anyone in industry and are more appropriate when fewer than 10 people from the same company are seeking training on a specific topic.

Becht’s private training courses are arranged with specific clients and are only open to attendees from that client’s workforce. Private trainings are scheduled according to our clients’ needs and take place on site or at a location convenient to the client. We typically recommend a class size of at least 10 trainees in order to make the price of private trainings cost effective.

In both public and private trainings, your team will receive targeted training from Becht’s global team of Subject Matter Experts as well as the opportunity to ask questions and discuss industry experiences.

Our recommendation is for a maximum of 25-30 individuals to attend most of our Becht private training courses. Some courses that cover more complex information are limited to smaller class sizes. In order to foster a comfortable learning environment in which the trainees are engaged and have opportunities to ask questions and have discussions with the instructors, we do not recommend class sizes above 30 trainees.

No! We can work with your team to arrange Becht private trainings with flexible attendance methods. While live in-person trainings are preferred as they offer the most opportunities for interaction, we also offer virtual or hybrid training sessions held over Microsoft Teams or Zoom. All Becht private training courses are presented by a live instructor.

Absolutely! Our Becht Learning & Development team and expert instructors will collaborate with you to discuss the training needs, experience level, and objectives of your workforce. We will work with you to tailor our course agenda to best address the topics that are most relevant for your team.

Definitely! Becht’s Course Catalog provides a list of our currently existing courses, but our global team of Subject Matter Experts has experience, knowledge, and perspective on a broad range of topics pertinent to the oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy generation industries, in addition to mentoring, leadership, and soft skills. Becht’s private training courses are priced by the number of days, training hours, and sessions of the training course. Our standard pricing does not include extensive customization or course development hours, instructor travel expenses, or other course-related expenses. Pricing for specific courses can be provided upon request.

Upon completion of a Becht training course, all trainees will be emailed a Certificate of Completion which includes the course title, name of instructor(s), dates of the course, and number of Professional Development Hours (PDH) earned. This certificate can be submitted to support Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for certain industry organizations, such as ASME, API, etc. However, Becht does not issue certifications or provide assessment or qualifications specific to these organizations.

According to Becht company policy, recording and distribution of Becht private training courses is prohibited. Specific situations and arrangements can be discussed. However, Becht retains ownership of all training materials, information, and presentations shared during private training sessions and distribution of any training-related materials beyond the course agreement is strictly prohibited.

Training materials will be distributed in hard copy to trainees. Typical training materials include a binder containing the course slides and/or any additional examples, case studies, equations, or reference sheets to which the instructor may refer during the training. Your Becht Learning & Development Project Manager will work with you to arrange printing details in advance of the course. Electronic training materials are available only for virtual attendees.
