Greg Zoll, PE
Greg Zoll is apart of Becht’s Power Generation Plant Services group providing over 35 years of experience in utility and independent power generation including advanced technology combined cycle, cogeneration and simple cycle plant consulting, technical assessments, project development, feasibility and efficiency improvement studies and renewable generation.
Greg is a subject matter expert in G, H and J Advance Technology “Frame” and aero derivative combustion turbines and in their firing of high hydrogen content fuel gas. He is experienced with contract development and negotiation, Independent Engineering due diligence including M&A, project feasibility/FEED studies and proposal development activities. Equally experienced in utility scale, IPP fossil generation plants including renewable and smaller combined heat and power (CHP) facilities.
He comes to Becht from Burns & Roe and POWER Engineers where he was VP of Strategic Consulting responsible for Owners Engineering project development support and Independent Engineering review. At POWER, he managed a team of professionals responsible for marketing, development and execution of all Owners and Independent Engineering work. Prior to that, Greg worked for 15 years as an Independent Power Project (IPP) Developer and as a Utilities and Offsites Design Engineer at Exxon Research & Engineering Co. Greg is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey and holds a BSME from the University of Vermont along with an MBA from Boise State University
