Sarah Williamson
Sarah Williamson is a chemical engineer with experience in process engineering, and planning and economics, currently serving as the BechtCONNECT product owner at Becht since June 2024. Previously, she worked at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where she developed optimized operating strategies and spearheaded data-driven economic improvements in FCC, Diesel Hydrotreater, Gasoline Hydrotreater, and Benzene Saturation units. In her role as an Economics & Planning Engineer, she completed prompt and out-month forecasting using Aspen PIMS, and led cross-functional initiatives, including a analytics effort to standardize the gasoline blending octane loss monitoring. In her latest role she was the Product Manager for all advanced analytics initiatives within the Refining organization.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech.
