Ida Soto, M.S.
Ida Soto is a resourceful and detail-oriented project manager with highly developed leadership skills. She brings 24 years of expertise in Engineering Design, Project Management, Curriculum Design, Consulting, and Training. Her experience spans various facilities and engineering offices within the refining and petrochemicals industries, both domestically and internationally. She holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
Throughout her career, Ms. Soto has developed an expertise in Operational Excellence, focusing on enhancing processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within organizations, in alignment with industry best practices. Her role encompasses not just implementation but also the design and structuring of comprehensive training programs. She creates the framework and strategic vision for the development, delivery, and sustainability of training initiatives.
As a native Spanish speaker, Ms. Soto excels in imparting knowledge and training to both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking audiences, with a keen understanding of cultural nuances. She has successfully developed and delivered in-language training programs in Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela. In her role supporting the Kuwait National Petroleum Company, she trained consultants from India to conduct competency gaps for operations and maintenance personnel, develop and deliver training content, and create process and equipment manuals, operation and maintenance procedures, and training guides. She fostered a collaborative environment that enabled a multicultural and multidisciplinary team to excel and achieve outstanding results.
