Danny Davis
Danny Davis has held key leadership roles for the past 35 years across the petrochemical and refining industries. He has an extensive technical background across all disciplines for field execution, leading large projects and complex maintenance jobs.
Danny joined Becht in October of 2018. He served as the site Manager at Valero’s Port Arthur Refinery overseeing planning, scheduling and project controls for Major Maintenance and Turnarounds for 2-1/2 years with (32) Becht personnel. Since completing the Valero project Danny has worked with over 21 different clients across North and South America including Canada. He has led or participated in 16 RBWS, 21 readiness, 9 critical path analyses, 6 planning standard reviews, and multiple war room workshops, maintenance work process assessments and constructability reviews.
Prior to joining Becht, Danny worked at Shell/Motiva’s Port Arthur Refinery for 13 years. During that time, he served in various leadership roles at the Port Arthur Refinery such as Site Turnaround Execution Manager, Routine Maintenance Manager, and Reliability Centered Maintenance Focal Point. In 2012 he was promoted to CSU Manager responsible for the start-up of the Crude Expansion Project.
Danny served as the GTBR executive board member from 2017-2018, serving as the Turnaround Chairperson for all major companies in the Beaumont/Port Arthur Texas area. Danny has lived in Southeast Texas his entire life and is married to Joni; they have 3 children: Logan, Elyse and Meredith. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking and traveling.
